Daz Valladares
Managing Director
Qualified in marketing and advertising by examination and experience. A member of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising, formerly chairman of the Media Research Group and chief examiner of the Communications Advertising & Marketing Foundation. Colin Stone
Media Director
Formerly a director of Zenith Media, Colin set up Stone Media in 1991 and is still trading out of BBVS. As the first of the associates, Colin has a great deal of experience across all media channels. His current client list includes the owner marketing and property acquisition programs for all brands within the Hoseasons Group in the UK and Europe.
Darryl McDonald
Account Handler
A classic case of ‘poacher turned gamekeeper’ Darryl formerly worked as the Marketing Director of Knight Frank, one of the leading property companies in the world. He joined BBVS in 2004 and now has a much wider client base including travel and tourism. In his spare time he is an active tennis player in the Buck’s League and often seen in the gym.
Donna McWilliams
Group Assistant
Belfast’s loss is our gain, she’s been with BBVS for 19 years. The hub of the company: PA, receptionist, telephonist and lots more. Get past Donna and you’re half-way there.
Ian Martin
Media Director
Ian started with EMAP before changing sides and joining Circlestone in Covent Garden as head of media buying for clients such as Quantel and Interoute. He’s even promoted a website for Keith Chegwin! He joined BBVS in 2002 where his international clients have included WebEx and The Crown Estate. He thinks of himself as metropolitan but lives in Ealing with a Welsh girlfriend and two Burmese cats.
Ian Wood
Account Director
Ian has worked across most areas of the design, advertising, marketing and sales promotions arena since graduating in graphic design in 1973. He initially worked as creative director, moving into account management & planning through to working on new business development, before joining BBVS in 2004.
Mike Donovan
Media Director
Mike has over 30 years of TV planning and buying experience. He started his career working for HTV and then Thames TV in London before moving to work with some of the biggest agencies in the UK. Mike has worked on an array of new product launches across every type of advertising market and now oversees all TV buying at BBVS.
Phill Martin
Media Director
Phill has over 20 years media experience in leading media agencies. He is one of the earliest exponents of broadcast sponsorship and advertiser-funded/co-produced programming. He’s an expert in food branding and distribution.
Sandie O’Sullivan
Media Director
Sandie has a background in broadcast media, having worked at Yorkshire TV, Tyne Tees and London Weekend. Her big agency experience includes Young and Rubicam. Sandie has been with BBVS since its inception and now heads up the agency's TV department.
Stephen Bygraves
Financial Director
Stephen qualified at Deloitte, Haskins and Sells. He then became accounting manager at Avis before joining BBVS. He’s an active member of his rotary club and an enthusiastic golfer.
Terry Bushell
Chairman
When he served in the RAF, he ensured that the Russians never invaded Darlington. He applied the same zeal at JWT (then the largest Ad agency) as head of TV. He then joined Harlech TV as London sales manager. These skills he applies to his work at BBVS. A keen sportsman, Terry played Cricket and Soccer to a very high standard and once boasted a 4 handicap at golf.
Tim Kingham
Media Director
Tim has over 30 years media experience. He worked for 14 years at the Financial Times as Head of Client Sales and MD of the their Conference Division. He was Media Director at Holmes & Marchant Central for 4 years and has been with BBVS for 11 years. He has national & international consumer & B to B media experience across numerous industry sectors including travel and property.
